Here’s what’s going on in our neck of the woods or the suburbs, but that doesn’t sound as cool as when Al says it on the Today Show. Okay, moving on.
Just woke up on this Saturday morning after 3 days of about 5-6 hours of sleep each night–which if you know me, and most of you do, you’re shocked right now that I’m even up by 10! I actually started moving around 9:30, but finally put the feet out of bed about 9:50. I think I rolled over once when Robert went to work at 8. Poor guy, he deserves better–a wife that will walk him to the door and say good bye sweetie, have a good day. Maybe I’ll work on that.
Jesus Culture was awesome. Great leeway into camp. We got to see our camp speaker, Scott Thompson and worship leader, Kim Walker. Camp, here we come!
Now, it’s the weekend…and the Crappiott’s are on their way! Heather is coming for the first time in awhile and leaving little River for the first time. I tell you this, so those mom’s out there can pray for her!
The girls are heading here for some much needed girl time–and to go to church together tomorrow…because my hero, Rita Springer is leading worship at RiverStone. You’ve heard me mention her on here before but y’all have no idea how excited I am that she’s going to be here. Our worship pastor, Daniel is on vacation and he’s friends with Rita, so she’s coming to lead worship for us, no big deal…ha! I am so excited I can’t stand it!
Anyway, moving on…. (if you are anywhere near RiverStone tomorrow at 9 or 11, you should come!) I need to get a move on. I sit here looking through our apartment and see remnants of a camping trip and being at a conference for three days….and the girls are going to be here soon. I’m not completely stressed out since it is my girls and I know they love me for who I am, but ummmm….the ability to sit down and share a meal together around the table would be a good option don’t you think?
So, on that note, enjoy your Saturday friends!
