It seems like just yesterday we
were meeting you for the very first time….
And now it’s been half of a year already!!
You had such a big month for your 6th month!
(I feel like I say that every month–but
you amazed us with each new day!)
You started sitting up on your own.
We still feel more comfortable with pillows all
around you, but you seem pretty confident that
you’ve got this!
You became mobile during this month.
Not quite crawling yet…
but scooting EVERYWHERE!
Still sucking that thumb…
but your left one became your favorite
one during your 6th month!
You went to the church nursery
for the first time and now have
been a couple of times.
You did so good!
We dedicated you in front of the whole church.
Your whole family came to Atlanta for
your special day. You were such a big
boy and did so good (more pics to come
from this special day!)
You’re still not amused when I take your
picture with Mr. Owl 🙂
We introduced solids to you this month!!!
I tried to wait till you turned 6 months old–
but gave in 2 weeks early.
You were showing so much interest in
what we were eating, so
we decided to go ahead and try it!
You seem to like it!
Mommy is learning how to cook your food
and so far you’ve had
cereal, bananas, apples, sweet potatoes, and carrots.
You still nurse well even though
you are now eager to try new foods
and play with your new friend,
the sippy cup.
You can still wear some 3-6 month clothes,
but you are mainly in 6 month and 6-9 month clothing.
Mommy pulled out your 9 month clothes today
to go ahead and wash and get ready.
You went to the beach for the very first time
during your 6th month
and you LOVED the sand and the ocean!!!!
We love how you are our little water bug!
You became very interested in Maddie (the basset hound)
and Abigail (the cat) during this month. You’ve gotten
brave and have started reaching for ears and tails….
not quite sure how the fur balls now feel about you,
but you love them and want them to be your best friends!
You are on an amazing schedule and still sleep incredibly well.
You wake up between 7:45-8:30am.
Morning nap from 9:30-11:15am.
Afternoon nap from 1:30pm-4:30pm.
Bath time at 7 and asleep by 8…
to wake up the next morning between 7:45-8:30am!
And you’ll not like me one day for posting this picture—
but with the introduction to solids…..
you make this face a lot. 🙂
And to not close out on that note….
I’m going to post what I think is now my favorite picture.
So sweet. So innocent. So precious.
So boy. So in love.
You continue to be our miracle baby.
Happy 6 months our little Jude Robert!
